King Soopers Neighborhood Rewards Program
For more than 70 years, King Soopers has been committed to supporting local communities. The King Soopers Neighborhood Rewards Program was established to give shoppers an accessible opportunity to consistently support organizations that they know and love. The beauty of the program lies in its simplicity—individuals can give to a nonprofit by shopping as they normally would. All you need to do is connect your King Soopers loyalty card number to Second Wind Fund. The process takes around 2-3 minutes and is outlined below. After that, whenever you buy groceries in-store or online with your rewards number (usually your phone number), King Soopers will automatically make a donation to Second Wind Fund.
Create an online account & link your card
To support Second Wind Fund, the process is simple and should take 2-3 minutes to complete. First, you will need to create an online account, if you haven't done so already, at www.kingsoopers.com/account/create. If you already have an online account, you can simply sign in.
Second, you will need to link your King Soopers loyalty card number (also called Alt ID number) to Second Wind Fund. Simply, go to the community rewards page and enroll by searching for Second Wind Fund or our organization number, MB241. At this point, you're all set and every time you shop at King Soopers with your loyalty card, Second Wind Fund will receive a donation. It's that simple!
How much money will Second Wind Fund receive from my purchases?
Every quarter, King Soopers donates around $2.5 million to participating nonprofit organizations. We receive a percentage of that amount depending on how much our supporters have spent at King Soopers relative to everyone else enrolled. For example, if you spend $500 per quarter ($166/month) at your neighborhood King Soopers, and the total amount spent amongst all nonprofit participants is $5,000,000 per quarter, then you will raise $250 per quarter, or $1,000 a year for Second Wind Fund!
How can I keep track of how much I raise for Second Wind Fund?
Can I enroll with more than one organization?
You can only enroll with one organization at a time, but you can switch your support whenever.
Are my earnings tax deductible?
Since you are not donating directly, the amount you earn for Second Wind Fund is not tax deductible.
Do my online orders earn money for Second Wind Fund?
As long as you are logged into your online account and enrolled with Second Wind Fund, online orders help raise funds!
Is there a way for me to see how much Second Wind Fund has raised in total?
Yes! We communicate with those who are enrolled in the program and fill out this brief form.

If you get a state income tax refund in 2020, you will have a new opportunity to donate some or all of it to support our ongoing work in the community. The new program described by the ReFUND CO initiative puts you in charge of where your donation goes. It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3:
1. Decide how much of your refund to donate.
2. Enter Second Wind Fund, Inc. and our registration number, 20053002393, in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your state income tax return or tax software – or just give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.
