To Our Endowment
Initiated in 2005 after a generous gift from the individual Board of Directors at Front Range Bank, our endowment is intended to ensure the long-term viability of our work. We have placed significant controls on the use of the endowment principal. The goal is to never touch that principal, but to someday make some core pieces of our program sustainable via the interest that the endowment earns.
If you would like to be among the first to put your support behind our next 1,000 youth, we have a special way to recognize you. Any donation or commitment of $1,000 or more (from a group or individual, named or anonymous, one donation or a time-phased donation which need not be completed by May) made specifically to Second Wind's endowment--which helps ensure that we can keep doing this work permanently--between now and the end of May 2008 will be recognized on our website's home page as well as in our program brochures under the "Next 1,000 Circle."
